Emmanuel Doit, Senior Engineer – Software and Electrical Dept
Mr Emmanuel Doit is an experienced engineer, with more than 15 years in the automotive industry, specialising in software development, systems engineering & functional safety.
He has experience of embedded software development across a range of projects (engine management system, hybrid vehicle, battery electric vehicle, hydrogen fuel cell systems, etc), for prototype and series production project.
He is responsible for creating and maintaining HORIBA-MIRA company-wide processes for embedded software development, in accordance with A-SPICE & ISO26262. This includes recent updates regarding best practice use of version control software (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for automated regression software testing (Gitlab).
He has experience of functional safety standards (ISO26262 & ISO13849) including development of functional safety work products (technical safety requirements etc), managing development of complex platforms (ECU design + CPU + BSW + ASW) for safety relevant controllers, and providing FS consultancy for ISO26262 Part 6 (Product development at the software level).
He is responsible for creating & delivering the “xEV Software & Controls Development in Accordance with ISO26262 and A-Spice” course at the MTI.
